How to get back to my natural hair color?

I naturally have light brown hair with some blonde highlights, but I dyed my hair red. I've realized I look better with lighter hair, so I tried to dye it lighter which did not work. I've already had to grow my hair out once, and I really don't want to do it again. I also don't want to do permanent damage to my hair...What should I do?How to get back to my natural hair color?

Go to a professional and have them use a toner to get rid of some of them red.


Then they can dye over it without the red coming through.
Wait for it to grow out. It might even look worse while it grows out... But it does no damage. It'll eventually go back to your natural color naturally.
I don't think you can dye your hair back to it's original colour again without damaging it. I think you're just going to have to grow your hair back out
