How do I get back my natural hair color?

I'm a natural redhead - not Ron Weasley red, but fairly strawberry - but then I moved to California and all that sun turned it blonde. Is there any products out there to get it back to its natural color besides dying it? I've never dyed my hair before and I'm not really into it. That would either be a last resort if I REALLY wanted the red (or at least redder) back, but I try to keep it natural.

When ever I dyed my hair red, I used Garnier Nutriesse. I am not sure how well it would work under those conditions however.
