I am transitioning to natural hair and Im wondering if anyone has tried a twist out in this state? Outcome?

I currently have half relaxed half natural fine hair, and not a lot of it. I need a style that will last for a little while. I have done presses, but if it rains, the humidity ruins that, and Im waiting on my hair to get healthier to do braids. Thanks for any and all suggestions.I am transitioning to natural hair and Im wondering if anyone has tried a twist out in this state? Outcome?
If you are willing to cut your hair, it would be better. If not trim as much as you are comfortable with because it's better to get rid of as much of the relaxed hair as possible. Because the twists are light, your hair should be able to tolerate them. It's good you know your hair is not right for braids, yet. The best thing to do is have the stylist who will do your twists, evaluate your hair. He/she can determine what's the best right now. Good luck.I am transitioning to natural hair and Im wondering if anyone has tried a twist out in this state? Outcome?
I don't think that the braids will cause too much breakage or anything, especially if half of your hair is not relaxed. :-)
