Natural hair?

I cut all of my permed hair off a month ago and I am trying to grow my hair naturally with out chemicals. Right now my hair is a really short afro. My question is how do I take care of my hair now. I want it to grow really long and thick but I only know how to take care of permed hair not this... Help!Natural hair?
my best advice would be to take care of it pretty much the same as your processed hair...if you had nice hair when it was permed then if you take just as good care of it now it should be awesome

you can find a lot of products that are good for defining curls which will make your hair less afroish once it starts to get longer just go to the beauty supply store and see what they have

Hype Hair and Sophisticate's Black Hair Style's usually have really good advice on natural hair care

Vitamin B is awesome I don't know about the eating more thing but if you decide to take a hair skin and nails vitamin it will make ';ALL'; of your hair grow faster

and do not wash your hair daily natural oils are the best conditioner and washing hair too much causes it to dry outNatural hair?
Wash it daily. Use a good conditioner.

I've heard that (seriously) beer shampoos (wash it, rinse it in beer, leave the beer on it like 1 minute before washing the beer out), rinse it again (leave the beer on and just do a RINSE) are excellent.

I've heard that egg shampoos (for the protein) are excellent; simply break the egg, use the whole egg. Massage it into your hair (like shampoo). Repeat as for the beer, but DO-- PLEASE-- wash the egg out.

Good luck with your hair!
