I recently got my hair cut quite short. The shortest point is just about the bottom of my neck and the longest is round the front which is about 2 cm above my collar bone. I don't like it that much. I was wondering how long your natural hair should be before using clip in extensions as to avoid them looking noticeably false. Also any advice as to how to make them look blended in would be much appreciated :)
Many thanks :) xxxxHow long does your natural hair have to be for clip in hair extensions to work?
If you go onto You Tube, there are many girls who have hair that seems as short as yours and they do a very edgy look with the extensions. Ive been told to have your hair down to your shoulders so it blends better, but I think if you can pull off an edgy look, than its worth a try!How long does your natural hair have to be for clip in hair extensions to work?
Your hair is definitely long enough. The rule is generally 6 inches. I would highly recommend getting your clip ins from http://www.headkandy.com
These blend better because of the quadweft, it gives a long layerd appearance so it looks very natural and they are very thick, so they wont look scraggly. You can get cheaper extensions, but they wont look as natural.
I feel very strongly about headkandys cuz I spent hundreds of dollars on other extensions and I'd have to wear two sets just to ake it look natural and blend. If you want i can send you pics to show you the difference...
layers is the secret here! get double the amount of extensions you would normally buy and cut one lot so theyre a wee bit longer than the natural layers in your hair, put them in along the crown of your head. Then put the uncut extensions underneath those, straighten and it should all blend in nicely :)
shoulder length or longer (:
