How do you transition from a relaxer to your natural hair?

I am an african american female who has regularly had a relaxer since the age of 10. I have always had good natural hair but it was somewhat thick and very nice and wavy, i've always wanted to grow my natural hair back but im not too familiar with the process. If anyone could help i would really appreciate it.How do you transition from a relaxer to your natural hair?
You should be sure to go to a hairstylist who is familiar with natural hair. Once a week would be good until you're finished growing the relaxer out bc you will need frequent trims to keep breakage to a minimum. Allow the stylist to blow dry your hair straight and then allow your stylist to straighten or put large curls in your hair with a Chi iron each visit and watch how quickly you get great results. Always make sure your stylist protects your hair from the heat that will be applied weekly, Chi serum and iron guard spray work well. How do you transition from a relaxer to your natural hair?
ok I am going to tell you I am going to do the same thing. when did you last relax your hair. If you just relaxed it then you might have to wait 2 or 3 months depending on how fast you grow out your relaxer the hard part is when you are done growing it out. you have to find out what hair styles to do. as you know natural hair is harder to take care of because its so tightly curled you can braid often get dreads you can even wear your hair down but it will be curly you do cornrows and leave it in for a few days then you take them out when they are getting messy. you un-braid carefully spray water or hair spray and your good you can straighten or curl your hair but not every day. maybe every two weeks would be good. wash your hair every week and you can use a leave in conditioner or a hot oil treatment but use the hot oil treatment every month I hoped I helped and good luck :)
